Fairy Tales...

I wish my life were like a fairy tale,
then everything I ever wanted,
would become real.

I would find my prince,
and live happily ever after,
and nothing would ever be wrong.

But as I wake up,
from this dream I wish were true,
I see my life as it is,
and wish that it weren't real.

I thought that I had found my prince,
but that quickly faded,
he walked out of my life,
and then shut the door to our future.

I wish that I could go back to my dream,
But every time I try,
I still see him by my side.
I guess that will never change.

I now realize my fairy tale,
will never be real,
I guess I will give up on finding my prince,
until he comes back in my life...
