Tears

Burning forever in this abyss of endless sorrow.
Never meaning for these tears for you to see and borrow.
Please forgive me for giving up on everything I am.
These tears cannot even be held by the strongest dam.

These tears have caused me to do so many things.
Sitting in my room alone as I watch the knife as it swings.
Blanking out knowing that now I cannot stop.
Staying there until I know that the blood has begun to drop.

These scars remaining on my body.
It does not bother me as long as it is bloody.
Falling deeper into this hole that consumes me.
Never wondering if anyone can even see.

Wandering around hating all that I have become.
Why am I still here and then some?
I should have been gone a while ago.
But here I am writing this so....

I'll continue to sit here.
I'll continue to write.
But the tears will forever keep on falling.
As I continue to keep on stalling.
