We all make mistakes,
You and I do too.
I’ve made a few big ones,
I bet you have too.
So let me tell you a little about me,
That not many people know;
The mistakes that I’ve made that changed my life, has changed others too.
My 1st big mistake,
Was becoming suicidal.
My 2nd was actually trying to die.
My 3rd was never saying good bye.
My 4th was very resent,
And I hurt me more then I hurt him…
I let the one person, who truly cared about me,
Get away.
He has already got on with his life,
And it has only been a day.
Mistakes change your life;
And after you make them,
All you can do is live with them.
So that’s what I’m trying to do.
But it’s hard you see;
I changed my life in just a minute,
Now what am I to do?
Well let me tell you,
I will do all I can;
Live my life,
And hope people see me like you do.
Mistakes can’t ruin my life,
That’s the thing only I can do.
No one can ruin your life,
Except for you.
Mistakes don’t ruin your life,
They just make it harder.
So wake up,
Face your fears;
And don’t worry if soon after that there comes tears.
I’ve got so many fears,
And I’ve cried so many tears,
What am I to do?
All I can say now,
Is that I’ve made a mistake or 2,

Choices change your life,
Mistakes complicate it;
But only you control what it does to you.
Everyone makes mistakes.
I have,

Looks can’t kill,
But mistakes sure do.
Drinking and driving takes lives,
Smoking does too.
Beating your child or spouse,
Hurts them and others,
And in the end,
You too.
Not saying goodbye haunts you for life,
Hurting someone you love does too.
Killing someone hurts more then just them,
And it haunts you.
Be careful with what you do,
Making bad chooses,
That turns into mistakes;
Changes you life;
And it can hurt more then just you.
