A Promise Is A Promise

by Ashley   Jan 21, 2005

She rides the bus alone.
She lives in a world with horrible things.
She has a dad, who hates her,
And a mom who’s disappointed in her.
She is suicidal for many reasons.
One, her dad.
Two, her “friends”.
Three, the rest of her family.
Four, herself.
And last, her life.
She made a promise to her friends,
That she would be there friends until the end, no matter what, or when.
She tells them she loves them over and over again.
She trusts them with all her heart.
She spends as much time with them as she possibly can.
Every weekend, she’s with her friends.
Her life is hard, but she knew it wouldn’t be easy.
But it shouldn’t have been that hard.
One day her friends talked behind each others backs, and lied to her face; what a disgrace!
She thought she should tell them, so they could be better friends.
They hurt her, and she hurt them.
Being friend’s means you can forgive and forget,
But it takes two to forgive, and to two forget.
She forgave, and she forgot;
But they would not.
Every time she tried to say sorry,
She made it worse.
And now they aren’t her friends,
But she kept her promise,
And they will always be her friends,
Until the end, forever and again.
So to those friends she’d like to say,
She loves them, she’s sorry, and they will always be her friends until her life ends.
