I thought that you loved me

I sit here with tears
remembering what we had
seeing all my fears
becoming so sad

when my life fell apart
you were there for me

you promised me forever

to help you remember?

the promises you made to me
I thought that they'd come true
but now I know they'll never be
cause I can see through you

I can see the way you are
I hate who you/ve turned into
you left me with a deep scar
that reminds of my love for you

how I was so true to you

you said you loved me too
but you turned and walked away

now I have nothing more
then the memories in mind

then the thought of leaving you behind
