Eyebrows

by silentangelsdie   Jan 22, 2005

They grow Bigger, Longer, Darker
Day by Day, Night by Night
To rip them out is torture
To let them grow is Unseen, Unspoken, Unheard!

Who is the victim in this act
Them or you, you or them!

So effortlessly they grow
And do not set out to become our foes
They are born to protect us
At our most vulnerable place!

We go out of our way to remove them
We endure the pain, ignore the agony
And live to see the results!

Yet every time they grow back
With more speed, agility and perseverance than before
And our quest for beauty is ruined!
