Silence

Silence fills the air,
Telling me nobody cares,
Telling me that I’m useless,
Telling me to go cry alone,

Go take that pillow,
Soak it with tears,
There’s nobody’s shoulder,
To take away your fears,

Take that pillow squeeze it real tight,
Because there’s no helping hand beyond tonight,

Scream only when alone,
Other times just shut up and never say a word,
Nobody wants to listen to your pathetic voice,
They don’t hear for the help you are crying,

Act like your happy only around others,
Put on that stupid fake smile,
But break down when no one’s around,

Why wake up in the morning,
Sleep in until noon,
No one will notice that you are gone,

Don’t call anyone on the phone,
They never call you,
Don’t have an answering machine,
Nobody has your message,

Why even change your clothes?
It’s not like anyone would know,

So go to the kitchen,
Pick the sharpest one,
The blade to take away this pain,
The one to take away your life,
To take away the silence you hear,
To take away your broken lonely heart,
And your hopeless abandon soul,

Just slit your wrist,
Let al your troubles go,
Cry your final tears,
For death is almost here,

The silence remains,
No voice to be heard,
For her voice was hers all along,
The guilt over powered her will,
She felt so alone,
She talked to herself,
Just like everyone else in this world,
So how the silence goes on.
