Drugs to Mind and Blade to Wrists

by Unknown2Thyself   Jan 22, 2005

The blade and the drugs take the pain away,
the pain that they cause me.
They help me forget the words and the bruises.
they take me to a place,
a place where I can be happy.

The next day my head might hurt,
and wrists might be aching.
But it's nothing compared,
to the suffering I do because of the demoms

The drugs make me forget everything,
and the blade lets the pain flow out.
But then the demons start again with their lies.
Making me go back to the shadows,
which have become my friends.

I wait for the over dose to kill me.
I wait for the blood to flow out and take the life from me.
Both these things are helpful,
they can end this misery.

They let me go to my friend the darkness.
They let me stay with the darkness.
They let me feel happy.
They end the tears and the suffering.
But they can\'t end what I went through.
