I miss you

When we first met we didn't speak for awhile,
but now I'd do anything to make you smile.

Spending time with you was a dream come true;
if I could have anyone, it would have to be you.

Sometimes thinking about you makes me cry;
I can't believe I left without saying goodbye.

I miss you a lot and I want you to know,
that I really wanted to stay, but I had to go.
