Her Life

by Lithium   Jan 23, 2005

So many signs,
But not enough time,
To save the one,
Who wanted to die,

Inside her,
Was a broken heart,
That couldn’t be fixed,
And would only fall apart,

Loved by so little,
Yet loved many,
This small child,
Didn’t have a penny,

To spare her life,
With a single loaf of bread,
She was discovered dead,
With a head full of lead.
