Looking at you
from the corner of my eye
the worst pain is
you don't even look back

I searched for the feeling
I once had for you
reached deep inside
looking for the truth

At first I liked you
thinking you were cute
comes out,
you aren't what I knew

Then I loved you
I fell, and fell hard
I crushed horribly
You didn't even lend me a hand

Turns out this was an obsession
that was eating me whole
I was hurting myself
W/out you knowing what I've done

I learned to fall out of love
and admit reality
that I never loved you
and we would never happen

It hurts me to know
you were just an obsession
Now I look at you
With harsh rejection
