Suicidal Letter

by Hannah Leigh Pate   Jan 23, 2005

This is for anyone who is listening,
I want to tell of my new ending.

A quick blow to the head,
Or an overdose in bed.
Maybe a quick drop from the sky,
And I could just finally die.

The weight of a decision is here,
But is happiness my biggest fear?
The stress has taken it’s toll,
But can someone save my soul?

Could someone cure this sickness?
Or am I to be left in the darkness?
My last request is to have a voice,
Asking to rid of this difficult choice.

A slit to the throat ends it all,
Let everyone see my body fall.
Silence motion of my lifeless corpse,
Tells them of my sad life course.
As I slowly drift to Hades‘ Underworld,
Everyone can forget this lonely girl.

Love, luck, and plenty of hope to all,
My suicidal letter tells of my fall.

Forever I say good-bye,
Look away, as I finally die.
