The friend with unknown affections

We've been friends for a very long time, we've shared secrets about love romance and relationships but I've never been bold enough to tell her how I really feel, because of this we've stuck to each others like shadows, we've had long lost loves and one night stands and through everything we've been there for each other, but she still doesn't know how I really feel for her, no matter how much I kid myself we'll never be together and no matter how much I kid myself I'll just be the friend with the unknown affections.
