These lines that run across my palm

by sheryl   Jan 23, 2005

These lines that run across my palm like tiny rivers to and fro
flow back in time to tell the tale
of who i am and where ill go

Some are deeply grooved and forked while others barely make a mark
some are woven round and round
while others move along an arc

Each generation passes on the family print upon the palm
this emblem of our heritage that tells us of our lineage

I have one line that forks into
a wish bone Y that leads back to
all the family ancestry
that made this person i call ME!!!!
