Still Waters Run Deep

I Looked Around The Room As Family Members Cried
A Young But Hopeful Mother One Day Just Up And Died

The Youngest Of The Family Left To Somehow Morn
Didn't Seem a Bit Upset Neither Was She Torn

I Walked Over To Her And She Looked Up At Me
A Cute Lil Child No More Than Was She 3

I Consoled Her With a Hug But This Child Wouldn't Cry
I Asked Her Didn't She Know Her Mother Just Did Die

She Looked At The Casket A Tear Rolled Down Her Face
She Never Muttered a Word But Remained In My Embrace

She Whispered In My Ear And Said This Secret I Hope You Keep
That This Is The Only Tear To Forever Roll Down My Cheek

See I Know She Will Forever Remain Somewhat Asleep
But Why In Sadness Must I Somehow Began To Weep

Shes In Eternal Ever Loving Holly Happy Peace
I Whispered Back To Her "Still Waters Must Run Deep"
