Daisy's and Roses

by Brianna   Jan 24, 2005

This shelter is to tight, like a noose
shes going to suffocate tomorrow
will she have loved the life she didn't live?
Not every sun ray gives you cancer
so let her smile and keep her color
and if that one ray is cautious
then close her behind the curtains
Rain is not always acid
so let it come upon her skin
and if it burns, keep her on the porch
But till then let her splash in its puddles
Death is a gift wrapped in the sins of our fathers
Delivered in white paper and black ribbons
time is planned
you cant cheat on something already known
understand, she will bury you
She'll watch them lower you down
She'll put flowers on your grave
Roses in the Sun
Daisy's in the Rain
