Out of darkness

by Stacey Martin   Jan 24, 2005

Out of darkness came the light
The shadows came from sight.
To the shadows there stood a form
A person or the devil with eyes of stone.
A sythe in his hand holding on to death
no one can look upon his face without a faint of disgrace.
In the shadows of winter there she stands
with petals red as the blood dripping from
the hand of the one they call the holder of darkness
and not the light.
