A feeling so indescribable
though universally understood
something so extraordinary
that I'd show you if i could
but its not something you see
no, its something you'll feel
and once it embraces you
there's no denying its real
its not love by definition
though it has something in part
and its not an emotion
it requires more than the heart
it's origin unknown
something we simply cannot create
surely not experienced by all
in which falls in hands of fate
it is beyond love
beyond care and devotion
so powerful it cant be compared
to any single emotion
perhaps a wonder of the world
another mystery to that of love
something that cannot be explained
and equally could never be told of
but if ever you are blessed
and this occasion should arise
you will be sure that what you are feeling
are those beautiful butterflies.
