AbCs (part one)

by Jacklyn   Jan 24, 2005

Turn the TV loud,
plug my ears tight,
turn on the radio,
and pray it to be night,

it is mommy and daddy fighting again,
yelling, screaming and bleeding,
stay out of his way,
or ill get hurt just like mommy,

just hide in my room,
in the darkest corner,
sing the ABC's just to to drowned them out,
sing as loud as I can,
and maybe they'll stop,
most likely they will not because i go barely noticed,

go to sleep hungry, just waiting to be feed,
fall asleep to the noise of them screaming again,

i'm just a mistake, they didn't mean to have me,
thats what my mommy had told me,
i'm sorry i messed up her life so badly,

my daddy says he loves me,
but only when he touches me,
but im only six years old,
what else am i supose to do?

so i sing the ABCs and hide away my face,
and hopefully my daddy wont come in late at night,
hopefully he will keep his hands clean and not play with me

~there is also a second part but it's more like how she sang the ABC's ~
