All those things you told me
So lovely and so sweet,
Dripping with promises
I was so foolish to believe.
But still I fell under your spell
And became overjoyed.
I had fallen in love
With the most wonderful, perfect boy.
How did I get so lucky
To have have you in my life?
To ba able to walk these hallsand smile
With you by my side?
Then one day I saw you
Kissing her in the hall.
I didn\'t know what to say
For your actions said it all.
I quickly ran away
With tears streaming down my cheeks.
My heart shattered more with every step
As you ran after me saying
\"It isn\'t what it seems!\"
How could tou do this?
How could you hurt me so badly?
For once I thought someone really cared.
I thought you really loved me.
But I guess it\'s true what they say:
\"A heart is not a play thing,
A heart is not a toy.
But if you want it broken,
