Dear dad,

you know i love
with all my heart
i may not show it all the time
but you helped me get this far

i want to thank you for everything
i don't know what i would do with out you
so thank you very much
for helping me through

you are such a great dad
and i know you try your best
trust me you don't need to try
you've already reached the top of the nest

you are the dad of all dad's
no one could beat you
you are just such a great guy
and together we will all make it through

i hate to see you stress
and i hate to see you worry
i don't want that to be a huge thing
it kind of does get scary

god knows the answer to this puzzle
and we will figure it out
i know you have strong faith
and thats what its about

you sometimes don't seem to see
how great of a dad you are
you are so special to me
for you i would travel far

i don't know what i would do
if you weren't in my life
i wouldn't be who i am today
and i wouldn't even have a clue why

when you ask me if i missed you
of course i will say yes
and that is nothing but the truth
so no need to stress

and just to let you know i will always remember
the pinkie promise we made
when i was just young
it will stay with me forever
