Pure Love

As I sit here I begin to wonder.
What my life would be like without you.

You are my Light.
You Lift my spirits.
You turn my frowns upside down. :)

You mean the world to me.
This I hope you know.

I guess I can say our lives are now changing.
They feel they have failed.
I can see it in their eyes.
They wanted to keep us blindfolded.
Away from our lives.

Their first took the safe way got married and soon will have kids.
He never went through were are lives must now begin.

We know our lives have just started and we have no idea were they will lead.

So now the challenge has started for them.
They don't want us to be unleashed.

Our whole lives have been protected.
Or at least that is what they wish to believe.

But now their bubble has burst.
And their drops have fallen all over us.

They will try to dry us off.
And keep moving on.
But they know this wont last for long.

We want to keep the others protected.
And away from any pain.

You came into my life as a little boy.
I came into yours as a little baby girl.

Who would have known we would become best of friends.
We have been here for each other since the beginning.

From cuts to scrapes.
From a bruise to a burn.
From love to heartbreak.

Our lives are now changing.
I know your body and heart is split in many ways.
But know this that no matter what I know I will be here for you.

We have had out battles.
Our different thoughts.
But we have one thing in common and that is our hearts.

They lie in the same place.
They both have their scars.
They both are split in many ways.
And they will both be here for each other in the end.

So take this from me as a sister and a best friend.
Do and follow what your heart desires.

For all I want is for you to be happy in the end.

Don't be yourself for once.
Don't think about them.
Think about yourself and your life which lies ahead.

Our lives have just started.
We have a long way to go.
I love you so much this I know you know.

Just know whatever you decide to do.
I will be here to love you.
For I cant imagine what my life would be like without you.

I go to you when I am sad or when I feel alone.
Your the first person I want to give my good news too.

So yes things are tough now.
But you have managed to make it through.
There is just one problem now.
That is that I can see right through you.

Behind that fake smile straight to those tears.
The tears which you have held back for many years.

I wish I could have been there for you before.
But I am here now.
So do what you need to do to get rid of those tears.

Always know that I can see right through you.
So no more fake smiles.
No more thinking about everyone else.
Think about yourself and what you want for once.

I wont let go until I know your smiles are true.

Who would have known that I would be sitting here writing a poem.
Not about my heart being broken by a lover.
But about my heart being broken over a man who I consider my best friend.

For a man that no matter what I wont let him go.
For a man that I love.
For my brother.
I love you.
