I never had a worry
not a thought in my mind
that me and you would ever part
another friend you would find

we used to be so close
i shared everything with you
but times soon did change
there was nothing i could do

i don't know what i did wrong
i don't know what to do
it's like you got bored of me
i'm not used to this, all so new

i'll do anything to get you back
for things to be the same
just like they used to be
in this life, that's like a game

maybe if i back off
and give you some space
you'll realize the friendship we had
i miss your smiling face

you act so distant around me
