life seems really hard at times, and its like theres nothing i can do
but theres someone who always helps me out, that someone is you
whenever I'm depressed, and going through a rough day
you always make time, to make sure that ill be OK

and when Ive lost all hope, and everything seems bleak
you are my pillar of strength, that helps me when I'm weak
you always take the time to listen, and you never interrupt
you give advice when i need it, and you never disrupt

you understand what its like, and you take me seriously
you don't just think its a joke, when i talk about my family
your very considerate, with a big and warm heart
you've been such a great help, even from the start

so thank you for everything nick, for all that you do
i know that i can trust you and always tell you the truth
knowing that you care, has helped me so much
so thank you for your sweet and caring touch
