I am the daughter of God
the wings of an angel
the mischievous grin of satan
I am a tiny drop of rain
the dark shadow of a tree
the sweet frangrance a flower gives
I am the laughter of a child
the teardrop of a mother
the hush a lullaby brings
I am the essence of love
the survivor of hate
a friend to those in need
I am a girl
I laugh
I cry
I sin
I pray
I am human
Just like everybody else

((I once had a very short assignment in a Spanish class I used to take. The teacher asked us to write up a paragraph of who we were. This is what I came up with.))

    First off Scarlette, you're good, i mean really talented. The descriptions were perfect and delicate. Your choice of comparisons really gave a sense of tranquility and hope. Also stating the obvious that some people find hard to grasp. Everybody is human, we're all alike. Thanks for sharing a piece of your soul.
