She Loves Me Not

I held my love, months ago
She’s gone, I miss her a lot
Now I wonder what she feels,
Does she still love me or love me not?

I’m trying now to get her back,
I’m giving it one more shot.
The thought of losing her, I cannot bear.
Does she still love me or love me not?

Perhaps she’s just a bit confused
I call and write, She’s cold then hot.
All I know is that my heart aches,
She loves me or she loves me not!

She needs my help every now and then,
I’m “Johnny on the Spot.”
Whatever she needs I willingly provide,

Days go by, no call no note,
Perhaps she just forgot.
That I’m waiting and evaluating her every move

It’s unfair for me to expect too much,
Even though my stomach’s in knots,
After all I already had my chance.

I pull off petals, one by one
Until the Corolla is not
I throw away the naked stem,
I now know she loves me not.
