You're dead

It’s taken time to realize,
That you, in fact, are dead.
But no matter how much I think about it,
It will always fill me with dread.

Every day I would spend with you,
We always were together.
Now you are only in my heart,
Where you will be forever.

I don’t believe in heaven,
So where you are, I can’t tell.
I don’t believe in any place,
Besides you were too good for hell.

I don’t know where you are now,
If there’s anywhere, I doubt.
So I’m still here on earth,
Trying to figure everything out.

I wish you hadn’t killed yourself,
I wanted to help with your pain.
I was feeling the same way as you,
And now it’s driving me insane.

We both went through it together,
The way he treated us was wrong.
Now no one understands the pain I’m in,
Ever since you have been gone.

But now I've finally accepted,
that you are dead and gone.
I'm just glad I saw you one last time,
I got the chance to say so long.

    hey your amazing after everything youve been through your still standing its truly amazing I cant imagine how u felt and what u went through we both have been through sh*t just different situations but ive reacted the same was as u in the way that I took drugs And oh man so much more. I think theres a lot to you that id like to find out ahha dont think im a creeper or anything Im just really interested in talking to you for some reason im in love with your poetry for real. your my favorite poet not just in this site. And im sure you wanna keep your distance from me now since what happened I guess its really hard for u to trust. I respect that though.     Great poem, it shows the effects of commiting suicide, and the way people feel, the thought of people just being gone is hard... and you captured it well in your poem.
