Rejuvenation

by EpithetPoet   Jan 25, 2005

I cry for you
I cry for me
I cry for those
I'll never see

I'm worthless and ignorant
Lost and confused
My mind tired and blank
My soul torn and abused

Tears form constant
With love hate fear
The feeling of letting go
Everything i hold dear

Rejuvenation
I'm dying to feel
Only by this blade
Can make this real

Mesmerized
As the red swirls leak
Feel the inner strength
As I'm no longer weak

Grasp the blade
Pale fingers clenched
Swirls turn to pools
Pale fingers drenched

Pasty white
In own blood spilt
Happy for the first time
As the fingers unclench the hilt

Happy for you
Happy for me
Happy for the people
I will never see

I'm begginning to think that my expectations for you will be forever locked in a standard to that of high esteem...i don't believe you'll ever not meet them.

I'm really surprised more people havent voted...or commented. This is a definite ice breaker. Welcome to my Favorites.

This poem is such a deep remorseful outrcry to those in general. [ or so I believe ] It is so talentedly beautiful and ergonomic in the sense that as the comfort of the body is soothed, so does this sooth the soul.

---I may have a odd interpretation, But I am always excited to meet new and awesome poets.

---From the rejuvination of familiar spirits to the mesmorization and ultimate suicide...Fantastic.

    Simple Awesome.
