Slowly dying

by speculative_scene   Jan 25, 2005

Alone in darkness a poor girl sits
Staring into space, trying to find shoes that fit
She's lost to the world; shes almost dead
She's lost inside her morbid head
Why does no one notice all of her pains?
Notice the many, horrid blood stains?
They fill up her sleeve from elbow to wrist
But all her "teenage phases" are only dismissed
They say "She's seeking attention, she's only lying"
But can't they see how quickly she's dying?
She's pale in the face and she's turning cold
Can't they see how rapidly she's become so old?
