Is Life Worth Living?

When I first saw you
there was a twinkle
in your eye. A twinkle
that reminded me
of a star in the sky.

Your voice was some how
mysterious, yet kinda sweet.
You had a way with words
that swept me off my feet.

When you held me in
your arms oh so tight,
I knew that everything
would be alright.

Yet now you're gone
and we are no more.
Tell what is life worth
living for?

It seems whenever I
open my heart, it always
seems to get torn apart.

Who will come and set
my soul free? Tell me
oh tell me,who will it be?

I search and search for what
is called "true love." Does
it exist, can it be found
from above?

Is there anything that will
ever stop this ache? The ache
that I feel whenever I wake.

Sometimes I feel so filled
with doom. Life to me is
filled with nothing but gloom.

Then something happens
to brighten my day. To lift
my load and lighten my way.

For I am reminded in
more ways than one. That
life is worth living when I
look at my son.
