My Own

by *Amber Faith.* ©   Jan 27, 2005

Loneliness surrounds me as the great walls of death
feel as though they are closing in;
Fighting to survive in a world of sin and shame,
but knowing I am much a part of it.

Finding tomorrow with no meanings as each new days is
lived without hopes or dreams;
Fighting off the fears of this changing world,
but knowing I, too, am changing.

But I much face there fears,
and I can hope and dream,
For tomorrow I shall conquer all;
your beliefs, your hopes, and trust.
This I shall call my own.
