We've talked about all the daddy's
that have left their family's side...
but what about all the mother's
who never really tried?

she snorts coke when no one is looking
Her drugs, her escape from reality
Overwhelmed, stripping for money,
She knows nothing of sanity...

Her children, thin with neglect,
Have not known a happy day...
Santa Claus is unheard of,
They know not how to pray

There is no God in their lives,
No one to tuck them in at night...
The constant stuggle to stay alive,
Their life is a lonely fight...

The mamma....she's so mixed up
She's messed up in the head...
The drugs have left her listless
Leaving her victim to her death

She doesn't pay the rent,
The coke is all she wants...
Grim reaper stalks her kids,
As his fleshless smile taunts

One day she will wake,
To find her children grown and gone,
They'll pick up drugs and drinking,
Just like their loving mom.
