Dimmmed Soul

Smeared blood on my wall
Streaks falling to the floor
The lights are dimmed
And my body shakes on the floor
Created my very on river of blood
I swim in my ocean of fun
But I have gotten so cold
I lost so much blood
My heart makes the music of death
A fast beat to keep me alive
And then the tempo starts to fade
As that beat soon starts to die down
Music to my ears to know the end is here
Tired of living a life that isn’t worth having
No friends to pick me up from the floor
No one to get mad at because they care
No one to discover my mosaic painting
It’s just me and my toys of pain today
Today I am the one worth leaving
I will sleep alone tonight but no different from other nights
If you find me just ignore the tears
And if you were expecting a note
There is none
I had nothing to say to you
Because I just wanted to leave
The depression in me is the one thing that drove me
