Run No More

I try and run but I can’t escape
Try and cut these chains but they don’t break
Try so hard to make you smile
But you just run a mile
Do I displease you so much now
If I do then tell me how
Cos I see you shaking inside
What happened to your pride?
You never used to let me see you cry
And now I do, I want to know why
Cos I’m bound to you like it or not
Something’s wrong, please tell me what
Cos neither of us have strength to run
So together we should face what we’ve become …
