The great pretender

by Belinda   Jan 27, 2005

* i know this isn't one of my best but you can read it anyway*ENJOY

i pull up my sleeves and let in the air
its warm you see and i really don't care
if they see the scares what will they say?
will they think any different do they ever stay?
I found you can cry without dripping tears
And yes screams do make sounds even without ears
My mind is the listener as i play the part
my fears gives me directions and tell me from the start
Its all a big act for a one person show
please my audience never let them know
memorize the answers and forget my real side
never let them in take them for a ride
I long for a listener to hear my screaming
I long for a person to tell me stop pretending
