This is just another poem
From just another girl, broken
Typing out some morbid words
In a bid to break herself open

Just another solitary night
Staring at my computer screen
Thinking of all the bad places
That I have ever been

Just another river of tears
Sliding down my cheeks
Just another score for them
In their fight against the freaks

Just another few words
Enveloped in self pity and pain
Another day of self hate
To get up tomorrow and face it again

Just another girl feeling suicidal
Staring at the blade before her
Knowing there’s no point in calling
Because they will ignore her

Just another bloody lie
To wrap up with at night
Just another hour, then another
Knowing I am NOT alright

This is just another battle
That we never seem to win
Just another poem to be sure,
It doesn’t all stay locked in.
