Goodbye

I sit alone looking out of the window,
i think about all the good times we had,
how we used to laugh and talk,
you were always there for me
whenever i was down,
but now I'm the saddest I've ever been,
but you aren't here to cheer me up,
why did you leave me when i need you most?

i want you here just for one last hug,
just for me to say goodbye,
i try to remember all the good times,
but all i get is the last few days of your life,
and they weren't to good,
i just wish i could see you one last time,
to tell you how i felt,
goodbye is a hard word but one i want to say to you.
to put you in to the back of my mind until the 29th October,
