Feelings

by Ashley Johnson   Jan 27, 2005

When the blood runs through my veins,
It feels like it dragging a ball and chain,
If the life has been sucked right out of you,
Then you know how I’ve had to sink to, another level,
I hide under the covers back to when I was young,
I wish that back then, I had a bloody gun.

These feeling’s that are inside,
Make me just wanna cry out,
It’s taken all of my pride,
All I can consider in my mind is doubt,
These feeling’s that are inside,
My head is about to explode,
It’s taken all of my pride,
The blood through my veins runs cold.

Can you see what this has done to me?
It’s like a brand new epiphany,
I have seen what is to come,
But I can’t do anything as my head has spun,
Out of control, breaking in to the wall,
I can’t continue to fight, or stand tall,
Inside my head is one big war.

These feeling’s that are inside,
Make me just wanna cry out,
It’s taken all of my pride,
All I can consider in my mind is doubt,
These feeling’s that are inside,
My head is about to explode,
It’s taken all of my pride,
The blood through my veins runs cold.

I’ve tried to help in everyway,
And I’ve tried it everyday,
I don’t think you care; you’re like a plague,
Trying to channel people’s thoughts to the border,
Then you hit them with a sledgehammer, just to make sure they hit the water.
