Walls surround my once open heart,
because you took it and tore it apart.
you promised me so many things,
you even sat and listened to all my silly dreams.
your smile was so warm and kind,
but the love i felt for you made me blind.
that wasn't you, it was all a lie,
now all i have left are the tears that i cry.
i don't cry them because i miss you and i want you back,
i cry because of the feelings i now lack.
