Thank You, my friends

She's acting oh so ordinary
But to her friends it's kinda scary
She hasn't cried for so long
They just know that something's wrong

She smiles her way throughout the school
She thinks her friends are all too fooled
But they know her better than that
Inside she's crying, that's a fact

She tries to tell them it's OK
But they know she's lying anyway
She hides her emotions so tight inside
but they all know that she's not alright

To teachers she's a hyper kid
but true friends know what was really meant
when she came to school and they all asked
what was wrong and she just passed

she doesn't know what's wrong with her
but she knows it has to get better
she's lays awake, at night and dreams
of really feeling how she seems

on the surface, she smiles and nods
but deep inside, it's getting hard
her cramped emotions are getting strong
she can't hold back the tears for long

but when she breaks down, they'll be there
to wipe away her every tear
she knows that they are there for her
to cleans her from her self-torturer

this story that I told is true
Because it isn't about them, or even you
this story is about a girl i know
the girl is me, this is will show

so i thank you now for staying here
when finally i fall to fear
I may act tough, no bones to break
but when it gets rough, i won't smile so fake

I'm staying here for as long as i can
and i know I'll survive...because i have my friends
i know sometimes, i tend to doubt you all
