One Forever

I cried all alone in my room
Locked away at night
My mind's walk of darkness
Yet there was this faint light

I walked toward it for so many years
Never close to reach
I started running faster
And I see me remembering that day at the beach

I was there with you, a smile on my face
Walking a slow pace across the sand
Slowly we talked about each other
And you gently held my hand

I didn't move it from there
I was happier than before
With the music of the soft breeze
And the water splashing onto the shore

There was so much yet unfolded
Learning more about each other
After such a little time
We knew we'd be one forever

I could tell from the way my heart would beat
And I saw that white dove
Showing a sign of peace to come
I knew with you I was in love

I couldn't seem to hide the smile
It just wouldn't go away
Every moment that we share
In my heart I cherish everyday

Seeing you, holding your hand
Only one hour past and you so much I miss
Can't block you away from my thoughts
Since you gave me that kiss

It wasn't my first
But it did mean the most to me
I kept you in my heart
It’s where you belonged to be

I care about you so much
You never leave my mind
You fill up my whole heart
You're the missing piece I wanted to find

You completed my life
Filled that void in my soul
Made me regain my smile
You're the one that made me whole
