Blind to her pain

by Emma   Jan 28, 2005

She's happier now, everything must be fine
no longer do we hear her whine
she smiles a lot, never seems to cry
all of her problems, she must have let fly.

What nobody realizes is that she still lives in pain
Remembering what she's done, again and again
They think its over now, because she seems cheerful
What they don't know is, when alone, she's tearful.

Remembering pain she's put people through
remembering pain, she's gone through too
She's not really changed, she's the same deep down inside
She simply finds it easier to cover up and hide.

She's constantly full of pain
and she's still hurting from things in the past
desperate to feel happy for real
wanting to know how long this'll last.
