Unjust

Tearful again tonight
Just trying once more
To do what’s right

But it seems no matter
How I push for freedom
My world will shatter

I will be bound in these chains
Terrified and alone
Crying from my pains

Seems there’s no escape
No way to free my soul
I can’t get this to break

Where is the peace, the light?
Where is my saving grace?
I wonder as I cry again tonight

Is there nothing for me out there?
No redeeming happiness
Just a world, unjust and unfair.
