They walk on by.

by ?   Jan 28, 2005

I watch the people, ones wandering down the street, they all have a place,
A hand to hold, except the ones who stand alone, who have left without a trace,
They wander with no where to go, they wander not knowing where they’ve been,
They just look around, look into their eyes, try and make the others see within,
Everyone avoids them, does a good job of ignoring, even walks around their dead bodies,
They do not care where their souls have gone, they do not care, they are lost in the breeze,
Its like their hearts are made of stone, and not even seeing them freezing to death will warm them,
How can they just walk on by, see their clothes and just immediately condemn,
Knowing that the things they waste, could save their lives, no, they walk on by,
Not even care, just walk on by, watch them die, do not say goodbye,
They walk on by.
