Put faults to your name
Despite are very different lives
We are really much the same

Two girls, close friends

That you did not want to know
Cos if I ever ran away
There’s only one place I’d go

And I thought telling you
About my unchristian way
Would have you look down on me
But you only have nice things to say

I’m sorry I didn’t see this in you
Long before tonight
You’re one of few people
Who can show me a bit of light

I scorned you for misunderstandings
And I’m sorry, I guess I was blind
But now I see the real friend you are
Thoughtful, excepting and forever kind.
