Friends Till the End

by Jacklyn   Jan 28, 2005

Friends till the end,
That’s what we always said,
Dreamed of double dating,
Be each others brides maids,
Husbands watch the kids,
As we go out and hang,

Things flipped around,
Our feature plans changed,
Were no longer friends,
You won’t even talk to me,
But I’m the only one to blame,
How I wish I could change,

I lied to your face,
Stabbed you in the back,
I pushed you away,
Because you had drifted to other friends,
I felt abandon more each day,
I didn’t know how to act, so I took my anger out on you,

I’m sorry this had to be the end,
With you drifting away,
I only knew how to push,
Pulling was never my best quality,
But now I’m here all alone,
All our dreams and hope in ruin,

Friends till the end,
Between you and me,
Made all my feature plans,
Including you in each thing,
But now we don’t even speak,
For our friendship ended way to soon.

Broken friendships. ;( make me so sad. Many have happened to me, and i swear i thought we'd be friends for life. You wrote my feelings down in this poem aswell. I enjoyed the way it flowed in it's unique style, well done on another macbre piece of writing my friend.
