Dear Senna,

Your son is almost 3 now.
I just thought that you should know.
I wish that you could see him,
To see how much he’s grown.

He looks just like his mother,
And acts just like you too.
You were always such an angel in my eyes,
I wish your son could have known you.

Your son calls me mommy,
And I know that it’s not fair.
It’s you he should be running to.
It’s you who should be there.

I promise I don’t hate you,
Another thing you should know.
It’s just I wish that you were here,
To help and watch him grow.

I don’t know where his daddy is,
I hope that he’s in jail.
For everything he’s done to us,
For putting us through hell.

Your son smiles just like you,
And it tears a hole in my soul.
He laughs and hollers as he sits,
Watching the birds through the window.

Your son is all I have left,
The only part of you.
