Scars

by Joy   Jan 29, 2005

You had cut once before,
And I thought it was the end,
But now you've done it again,
I'm slowly losing a friend.

I can't bare the thought,
Of what it would be like without you,
The mere thought of that,
Makes me feel so blue.

Looking at the scar,
That's slashed across your arm,
It makes me wonder if its my fault,
That your doing this self harm.

You told me that I'm not the same,
That I don't care anymore,
How you're losing your best friend,
And now you're feeling sore.

I'm sorry if I hurt you,
But I only did what was best,
You're the one who cut,
And now our friendship's at rest.

Even when your wrists were bloody,
You blamed it on stupid things,
But then you go and tell another,
The pain it really brings.

Why are you keeping it from me?
Is it because I would tell?
I'd rather you hate me forever,
Then let you go through hell.

I want you to know,
That I will always care,
Even if you don't think so,
Your feelings you can always share.
