One lonely tear trails down my cheek
The promise of friends to follow hangs heavy in the air
What keeps me going through the week
The hope that once gone from this place all will be fair
Why does the blame always rest on my shoulder
Will the pressure and pain ever turn to happiness and peace?
No matter how many blankest I add my soul only gets colder
Pain, anger, and sadness all I will someday release
The need for comfort and a kind hand
