I Pushed You Away

It's my fault, I know it is
I just wish i knew how to fix it
I ruined it, I ruined us
I'm sorry I hurt you I know thats not enough
I've done it way to many times
And now I can only talk to you in rhymes
I never understood how much you meant to me
But now you are gone, now I see
This silly little poem will never make it right
But just know that with out you my world is much less bright
I ruined a wonderful person
I ruined my best friend
And now you hate me, with perfectly good reason
And believe me when I say I'm sorry, because I mean it through every season
You saw me through hard times, you saw me through it all
But maybe you are right and I should just give this up forever

Even though its not enough
I know you can't see the tears on my cheek
But they are there just the same
This hurts way to much for me to explain
You were my best friend, the one I could alwayz count on
The one peron who never abandoned me
And now I've pushed you away
Now you're gone
